Since mid-2002, I have practiced ADR exclusively. Most of my cases are in or on their way to court or required by contract. Some are referred by judges. The parties are usually represented by counsel. I focus on business and governmental disputes because that's what I know best. To me that category includes contracts, employment, disputes between owners, business and real estate, valuation, professional malpractice, business torts, and just about every other kind of business or governmental problem. I rarely accept injury or marital disputes. Happily, most of my work comes from local lawyers who have known me over the years, and the American Arbitration Association or the Arbitration Service of Portland which know my track record.
